Royston Arts Festival 2024

Royston Arts Festival will be taking place between 20th – 29th September 2024 and local organisations and creative businesses are invited to submit their entries and get involved!

Last year’s Festival saw an audience of 5,000 attending the 75+ events, from music, drama, workshops, community events, talks and exhibitions.

This year is set to be bigger and better than ever, with over a week of live performance, exhibitions and workshops. The popular Gala in the Gardens, MusicFest and the Finale Concert will make a welcome return.

The Festival theme for 2024 is Arts in Motion.

For example; movement, travel, emotional progression, evolution through time, adaptation, experimenting with new techniques, collaborating with another organisation, merging different art forms or sharing perspectives across cultures or generations. It really is open to your own interpretation. Remember, it is by no means essential to theme your event: our main aim is to bring the community together and showcase the wealth of creativity on offer in our area.

Local organisations and creative businesses are invited to get involved by hosting their own events: could you run a workshop in your business for example? A competition for children? A talk or an exhibition?

Looking for ideas and inspiration for your event? Here’s what we did last year!

Submit your event or, if you are just at the ideas stage or want to express an initial interest, simply submit your initial ideas and we are here to help you shape what you want to do.

Here’s to an exciting and vibrant Arts Festival 2024!
